Senior Data Engineer II - Treasury Global Liquidity

Job Description

Wise is looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer II to join the Treasury Global Liquidity team and help design the foundations of the real-time liquidity observability stack and core business functions served by the team. This role involves delivering key initiatives, contributing to setting the technical strategy, and ensuring robust and scalable systems. The successful candidate will have a direct and measurable impact across multiple Wise products by enabling real-time liquidity views, optimizing financial resource management, and strengthening scaling strategies. Responsibilities include engineering sophisticated control mechanisms for liquidity utilization, ensuring rapid processing of high-value transactions, and developing systems for automated investment and risk management. Collaboration with data scientists on machine learning models for cash flow forecasting is also a key aspect. Wise works in autonomous, cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Scientists, and stakeholders in Treasury and Finance.
